Each course is prescriptive to meet the needs of today’s dancer. However there is slight flexibility in some areas of the course regarding the individuals previous experience and prior academic qualifications. This will be identified during the application and audition process.
Centre Pointe Vocational College is an independent College, however if assistance is required funding/bursaries may be offered based on individual financial circumstances. Alternatively a payment scheme can also be organised to split the total amounts paid into equal instalments.
For all you need to know and how to apply for an audition please see the Audition Application Form, which is included in this pack. If you require any further information please contact reception on 0161 3370300 or email email@example.com
Applicants for the Centre Pointe Vocational Diploma and the one year Foundation Course should be sixteen years of age before September 1st of the enrolment year.
Candidates for all courses are expected to have received prior dance training, and must be successful in the College audition which assesses potential skills in ballet, contemporary and singing, alongside a formal interview which will assess their potential for a career in the performing arts field.
Centre Pointe welcomes applications from all candidates who show the dedication and aptitude to meet our expectations. For those with a special need, we require you to inform us of this on your application form. This will allow us to arrange to meet this need at audition and adapt our programmes accordingly should you be successful in gaining a place.
