Pointe 4WD is a self-funded and independent Associate scheme, and aims to provide additional training to the dancer’s current training programme, whether at a private dance school or their main place of education. However if you are selected to be part of Pointe 4WD a high level of commitment and attendance is of upmost importance to gain the skills and engage in the performance opportunities offered throughout the programme.

There are two different levels;

JUNIOR: Years 6, 7 and 8

​

SENIOR: Years 9, 10 and 11

​

• 18 sessions per year (6 per term)

• 18 sessions in Ballet and 18 session in a different genre such as lyrical jazz, commercial jazz, Musical Theatre, and Contemporary

• Each session is 3 hours in total with 1.5 of Ballet and 1.5 of an alternative genre

• Teaching faculty are a mixture of Centre Pointe faculty and external staff

• The cost for the entire year is £390, payable in two instalments

Places are by audition only, which includes a Ballet class and a lyrical jazz class, therefore no preparation is required for the audition.
